You will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists, preparing feasibility studies, calculations and outline/detailed electrical engineering designs; producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules. You will work in close partnership with clients and contractors, building strong relationships that will enhance the company’s reputation and help secure further work.

The Water Consultancy Division is the centre of excellence within Mott MacDonald for responding to water and wastewater delivery capability challenges, providing support to colleagues across our global business, and offering fantastic opportunities to get involved in diverse and technically challenging work.
You will undertake electrical and ICA (EICA) design across all design stages of water and wastewater schemes both infrastructure and non-infrastructure as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Mott MacDonald work on design projects for many of the UK water utility companies, as well as providing specialist consultancy services to many regulated and industrial clients in the UK and overseas.
Your typical duties and responsibilities will include the preparation of and / or supervision of the preparation of drawings for plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, and cable, instrument and I/O schedules up to detailed design level.
We have graduate opportunities in our Bristol, Cambridge and Edinburgh offices within the electrical team. You will be part of a talented multi-disciplinary treatment team of technical specialists delivering a diverse range clean water, wastewater, flooding and sewer overflow projects, covering all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction support, commissioning, and handover.
