JOB DESCRIPTION

Become an integral part of our JPMorganChase team! Each day will be unique – bring a positive attitude, an entrepreneurial team spirit and get ready to roll up your sleeves. This position is an essential part of the team and will have exposure to several aspects of running banking operations.
As a Germany Working Student in our JPMorganChase Frankfurt office, you will be offered variety, growth, and a great introduction to a range of projects and tasks, and will have extensive exposure to daily operations of a leading financial institution. The program is designed to provide a one-year on the job experience and you will be expected to be available to work for 19 h/week during the semester and full-time during breaks, on-site in Frankfurt.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree during the entire duration of the program
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality workAbility to prioritize and multi-task

  • Ability to read and understand legal documents, e.g. laws and regulations, in German and English

Responsibilities
  • Supports the preparation of governance and oversight reports to LE governance fora and regulators
  • Assists in updating policies, procedures, and the local Compliance Manual when necessary
  • Supports the coordination of the JPMSE Compliance Policy Approval Process
  • Supports the implementation and oversight of the JPMSE Training plan and the set up/ update of JPMSE specific online training
  • Assists in the execution of the JPMSE Compliance Outsourcing oversight governance model in relation to Compliance outsourced activities
  • Assists in the execution of the JPMSE Compliance Monitoring & Testing governance and oversight modelSupports JPMSE Compliance in the execution of the JPMSE LE Risk Assessment and Qualitative Risk Appetite Assessment
