Do you love working with kids? Come join Edina Public Schools’ Community Education Department for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for individuals with a passion for childcare to assist our Program Supervisors in the planning and implementation of the summer school-age program. No formal training is required. At Edina Public Schools, we pride ourselves on being a learning community where all participate and all belong. A successful candidate will be a team player, have a strong desire to learn, and be passionate about equal access to learning for all children. Your Role Will Include: Creating and running extra-curricular activities for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, including art, music, games, and more. Supervising lunch, recess, attendance, and dismissal. Helping with the setup of the classroom and activities. Qualifications: No formal childcare experience is required - we are looking for individuals who have a passion for helping people and enjoy working with kids. Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check. HS Diploma or equivalent Salary and Benefits: Competitive pay, starting at $17.48/hour up to $24.04/hour based on experience. On-the-job paid training for first aid, CPR, child development, and working with students with special needs. Strong support network with ongoing staff development and a team environment. Location & Shift Times: Edina Elementary School Sites. Part-Time PM: 2 PM - 5:45 PM.
