ABOUT YOU You currently hold or are on track to obtain a California Teaching Credential, or you are a substitute, LAUSD Teacher Assistant, or Aide with a Bachelor's degree. SALARY Salary table for preliminary and clear credential holders (salaries start at $68,966) Salary table for teachers with Alternative Credentials (i.e., emergency, intern, provisional), (salaries start at $60,125) Salary table for Special Education clear credential holders (salaries start at $71,835) BENEFITS ​​​​​​The Partnership offers professional growth opportunities, paid planning time, additional paid roles, and reimbursement for eligible relocation expenses. Free induction program to clear your credentials through LAUSD. District-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for you, your spouse or domestic partner, and dependents (approx. $16,000 value), along with lifetime health benefits for eligible retirees. LAUSD offers up to a 15% salary increase for National Board Certification: 7.5% for the certification and an additional 7.5% after completing 92 hours of professional duties outside the normal duties and hours. We will use your one application submission to refer you to schools with vacancies that match your experience and preferences. Step 2: Wedge Video Interview or Phone Screen Applicants will receive an email to interview using Wedge and record a solo video interview. In some cases, you may be invited for a phone screen with a member of our Talent Team instead. Step 3: School Site Interview & Demo Lesson Successful candidates will be invited to a school-site interview, including a short demo lesson. The process may vary by school but typically involves meeting school leaders and delivering a sample lesson. Step 4: Offer & Onboarding Applicants will be notified directly by the school following their interview and demo lesson. If selected, the school will submit an Intent to Hire form to LAUSD's HR team, formally requesting your hire.
