Job Description As part of the Account Finance and Reporting team, the successful candidate will gather, process and present data to aid in informed decision-making within the organization. They will work closely with senior analysts and managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting to achieve the team’s delivery goals, such as providing timely, accurate, complete information in an efficient manner. Additionally, this candidate will seek out areas for streamlining and process improvements in daily operations for end-to-end business processes. Report Generation: o Maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, SQL, PowerBI o Responsible for the preparation and delivery of periodic, existing management reports o Support distribution of reports and information Data Collection: o Upload and download data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and various platforms o Prepare ad hoc data queries Data Analysis: o Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions o Doing data analysis and production support dealing with issues such as bad data, formatting, etc. Quality Assurance: o Reconcile and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency o Assist in data reconciliations supporting enterprise data store initiative Collaboration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for specific projects Automation and Documentation: o Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes to increase efficiency as well as document data sources, methodologies and report templates for future reference Special projects as needed Qualifications Required skills - 1-3+ years of finance or data analytics related experience, preferred to have insurance knowledge or background Intermediate level SQL and Excel experience, adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Knowledge of and experience with reporting tools & databases (SQL Server & PowerBI) Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent critical thinking skills to flag data issues Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team Additional Information Education - B.S. Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology Data Analytics or equivalent
