Job Description The Reinsurance Operations Associate is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and processing various activities in support of property and casualty insurance operations. The candidate will need to perform activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistently meet service level requirements. This position will be part of the Ceded & Captive Reinsurance Operations. Responsibilities: Interpret data, analyze results and process transactions in various systems in support of the following areas: Treaty Set up/Profiling Facultative Set up/Profiling Captive Set up/Profiling Reinsurance identification/calculation Financial Data Processing/Reconciliation Reinsurance reporting & record keeping Other work streams as needed Prepare and issue documents and reports accurately, as per specifications Interact with team and customers as required to complete deliverables Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick resolution Assist with troubleshooting and improving processes, as needed Qualifications Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in the English language Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Detail- and qualityminded with a keen eye for identifying process opportunities and driving continuous operational improvements Collaborative and team-oriented with ability to execute within an international team Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word with a willingness to learn new technical tools Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly Additional Information B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar Beginner to intermediate level working knowledge of reinsurance operations (QS/XOL, Treaty/Fac) Experience with automation and process optimization tools to streamline workflows
