Job Description This position is responsible for the account management of all Foreign Package Placements, will assist in quoting and renewing Foreign Package Placements, and be involved in general Foreign Package projects. The insured companies are U.S. based with exposures outside of the United States. The Job Function would begin with providing outstanding service to the internal Arch team: including Data Management of Premiums, Policy Production, Endorsement requests, review of Policy Limits requested and day-to-day management of Foreign Package placements. Once the candidate is proficient in the management of Foreign Package data, there may an opportunity to work with brokers on an external basis. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to organize data, and be task orientated. Previous work in Property Insurance would be a benefit. This is a technical position reporting to the HO VP. Responsibilities: Review new and renewal account information required to evaluate a risk. Identifies Lines of Business needed and organize exposure data. Limits profile and hazards in relation to coverage requested. Coordinates all administrative duties related to existing and prospective accounts. Prework and Pre-quote preparation of proposals Assist in final quotation/proposal on an internal basis. Quarterbacks all post bind activities including policy production, compliance issues, and premium payments. Together with internal team members, takes responsibility to deliver promised service to customers. Responsible for managing the renewal process. Responsible for supporting leadership in Project specific tasks. Qualifications Willing to learn basics of coverage terms - Workers Compensation, General Liability and Property Coverage. Willing to learn exposure identification and Limits requested. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Hands-on experience Microsoft Excel and Word, along with willingness to learn outside vendor portals or systems Excellent organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment. At least 2 years of related experience Casualty Accounts and Property experience recommended. Foreign Casualty and/or DBA UW experience is a plus Forms/Product and Internal Guideline development is a plus Insurance related experience desired. Additional Information Bachelors Degree
