Job Description The Reinsurance Accountant will assume responsibility for supporting the Operations department. Responsibilities: Triaging of Operations inbox Chasing of QS bordereaux accounts Chasing of accounts receivable Allocation of cash receipts. Liaising with brokers on missing cash information Liaise with brokers and underwriters regarding queries, outstanding receivables and premium adjustments Other projects and/or tasks as required including helping with implementation of workflow Qualifications A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA) is required with preference given Strong organizational, documentation and office skills including proficient use of Microsoft office applications Strong work ethic Natural ability to use initiative and work without supervision Problem solving ability Effective time management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines during peak periods Strong academic record which may/may not include a University degree Ability and willingness to work well and collaborate with others Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels Fluent in English Additional Information Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

The Reinsurance Accountant supports the Operations department by managing the operations inbox and chasing bordereaux accounts and receivables. They are also responsible for allocating cash receipts and liaising with brokers and underwriters regarding premium adjustments.
