We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.   About the role Applications are sought at Box Hill Hospital for the advanced bariatric surgery Fellowship position.  This position provides exposure in the order of 150-200 cases with a high primary operator rate within a well-established bariatric unit.  The surgical experience incorporates sleeve, band, bypass, duodenal switch and revisional surgery as well as opportunities to be involved in robotic surgery.  The Fellow will be involved in ongoing research interests through the unit as well as participating in the emergency general surgery on call roster.  A portion of the experience is through private assisting although the majority is in the public sector.   About you  To be successful in this role you will possess:   Current registration with AHPRA  Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills   Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
