QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must obtain a four-year degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field by June 2026
  • A minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA preferred
  • Strong accounting and financial acumen
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft® Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Credit Analysts are responsible for creating the credit approval document for various credit underwriting activities (new money, modifications, renewals, reviews, etc.).
  • Spread/review financial statements, test covenants, analyze financial and non-financial information to develop a concise focused analytical foundation for a credit decision.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and credit partners to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the credit process to meet client expectations.
  • Responsible for the development of quality approval documents while adhering to Key Bank’s credit policy.
  • Recommend decision to appropriate credit officer.
  • Identify and escalate material issues or trends in a timely manner.
  • May support any of the following underwriting segments: Business Banking, SBA, Middle Market, Agriculture, Private Banking, or NOORE (Non-Owner-Occupied Real Estate).
