GPP Database Link [https://cummins365.sharepoint.com/sites/CS38534/] Job Summary: Under direct supervision, the individual contributor performs preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on engines and related components at the customer site. They adhere to established procedures and guidelines to develop field service knowledge and skills, while undergoing on-the-job training and classroom instruction focused on the Cummins-based technician curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; displays an attitude of professionalism. Ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. Assists in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic repair activities. Learns Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follows documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance. Follows applicable processes, procedures, and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs and schedule engine maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools. Understands and uses service repair manuals to support/assist with daily tasks. Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field. Assists with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation and time sheets, via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Completes training in line with job skill and business requirements. Assists with maintaining service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. Ensures adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and legislation and reports any issues/incidents to their supervisor. Attends classroom training at an accredited university while gaining knowledge and experience in the work environment.
