Description EXPO / Runner 15+ Position Snapshot: EXPO: The expo position is responsible for creating guest satisfaction of the food and beverage program through preparation, preparedness, and presentation. The expo is responsible for the correct handling and preparation of all food items and the overseeing of monetary transactions to ensure our Guests' satisfaction at all times. Prepare and serve food and beverages to park guests, operate cash registers, help maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned stand while providing quality service to park guests. Communication skills are a necessity in this position. Runner: The runner position is responsible for creating guest satisfaction of the food and beverage program through preparation, preparedness, and presentation. The runner is responsible for the correct handling and delivery of all food items and is essential in providing outstanding service to park guests. Prepare and serve food and beverages to park guests, operate cash registers or handheld devices as necessary, help maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned stand while providing quality service to park guests. Communication skills are a necessity in this position. Ensure stands are fully stocked with supplies; alert Team Leader of supply shortages Communicate fluidly to different channels (management, supervisor, wait staff, and guests) to provide optimal and efficient service Mop floors, wipe off counters, sweep, empty trash and complete other general cleaning duties Take proper payment and make change for food and beverage items using a POS system Provide guest service according to OC Waterpark standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with OC Waterpark safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and a minimum of two holiday periods to meet business needs Meets OC Waterpark's attendance requirements as outlined in OC Waterpark's attendance policies Adhere to OC Waterpark's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures Other duties may be assigned We’re looking for: A genuine interest in making people feel welcome using your smile and positive nature Keen to be a part of something you believe in, providing fun while having fun at work Openness to learn, grow and develop skills Commitment to your team by being on time and working scheduled shifts Desire to be outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
