Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our private debt data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing communications, analysing company fundamental and reference data, and ensuring the accurate and timely entry of information into our systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a solid grasp of financial data, and a strong desire to thrive in a dynamic, data-driven environment. This internship will take place in January - June 2026.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Working with company fundamentals
  • Review, validate, and interpret financial statements, performance metrics, and other key company data and further process such data into our internal systems for further analysis by various teams
  • Reference data analysis
  • Assist our Security Master Team in gathering, verifying, and updating borrower and facility reference data.
  • Data management
  • Collect, upload and maintain various and private debt related information in the internal database as well as ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Data Quality Assurance
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in financial or operational data, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Generate and distribute team KPIs, team updates and process documentation.
  • Mailbox management and task handling
  • Act as point of contact for team communications, prioritising and organising emails.

    What we’re looking for

  • Pursuing a university Degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Be able to work full time in our Dublin office January - June 2026.
  • Interest in Private markets, particularly private debt, is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in companies balance sheet and income statement including key metrics such as EBITDA, leverage ratios, and debt covenants is a plus
  • Interested in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data validation and financial modelling. Familiarity with database tools is an advantage.
  • Keen attention to detail and a structured approach to data review and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of corporate financial performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts effectively.
  • An interest in private debt markets and a willingness to expand knowledge in this area.
