In addition to food preparation, this role involves final plate presentation, including garnishing cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu items. Prioritize cleanliness and safety to maintain our high standards and following Department of Health standards. Execute recipes with precision and dedication to quality. Ensure every dish meets our stringent standards for excellence. Keep our ingredients fresh by diligently rotating stock. Approach tasks with focus and determination. Adhere strictly to CAI's policies and procedures for a well-run operation. Fulfill all of the assignments given to you. Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity. Rotate stock to maintain freshness standards (FIFO – First In, First Out). Requirements Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills. Ability to engage with guests and create a positive, memorable experience. A minimum of 2 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking. At least 6 months of experience in a similar capacity. Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with managers, and kitchen and dining area team members. Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift to 40 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods. Job Type: Seasonal
