Position Summary: Service Assistants/Bussers play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in both the back and front of the house at our amusement park. Responsible for garbage disposal, dishwashing, and food preparation, they also handle deliveries, organize pantry, and ensure timely retrieval of items from storage. Navigating multiple park locations, they greet and serve customers, supporting front-of-house servers and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role demands quick and accurate order processing, making it essential to thrive under pressure. Location: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224, USA Job Description: Provide warm and polite service to our valued customers. Represent the vibrant CAI image by maintaining cleanliness, wearing a uniform, and arriving on time for shifts. Foster a positive team spirit by respecting superiors and assisting fellow workers when needed. Ensure guest satisfaction by keeping dining areas clean, well-stocked, and organized, maintaining a friendly attitude visible to guests. Recognize the impact of excellent service, quality products, and a clean environment on guest experience. Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Implement stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out) to maintain freshness standards. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Be ready to identify and resolve customer requests promptly. Fulfill all assigned tasks with enthusiasm and dedication. Adhere to all CAI policies and procedures, contributing to the overall success of our amusement park experience. Requirements Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cooks, fellow service assistants, and cashiers. Demonstrate courtesy and quick service, ensuring a delightful experience for our guests and encourage repeat visits. Be prepared to handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects like trash bags, kegs, or pallets of stock Flexibility to work independently and/or as part of a team. Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift. Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest.
