About the Program Gersh's 2026 Spike Lee Fellowship, in partnership with the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC), is now accepting applications through February 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. The Spike Lee Fellowship Program was created based on the principle that access plus exposure will create opportunities. The Fellowship offers a comprehensive career launchpad, including: Paid full-time summer internships at Gersh offices (New York, NY or Beverly Hills, CA) Mentorship from industry leaders Opportunities for a scholarship and full-time employment at the Gersh Agency, upon graduation Eligibility Criteria To qualify for the program, applicants must: Be a full-time enrolled college Sophomore or Junior at an Atlanta University Center Consortium institution (Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, or Spelman College) Be fully available throughout the length of the program: June 8 – August 14, 2026 Exhibit exemplary character, campus leadership and a desire to pursue a career within the entertainment industry Include a resume highlighting professional skills, training and experience to date Include a cover letter (no more than one page) addressing why you would make an excellent Spike Fellow and how the experience would support your future career goals Application and Selection Process Deadline: Submit all application materials by Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT First Round Interviews: Selected candidates will participate in a brief virtual interview with Gersh employees in March 2026 Final Round Interviews: Finalists will be invited to participate in a live virtual interview with Gersh Human Resources Final Selections: Selected Fellows will be notified of their acceptance by March 31, 2026.
