A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an HW QA Intern, you will be part of the Controls R&D Team and will take part in the development of advanced controllers for the Semiconductor market and other advanced markets. Your focus will be on the Validation and Verification process (V&V), in cooperation with the design engineers. Reporting to HW R&D Manager You will: Exposed to the process of the design, characterization, and system integration processes for new MKS products. Use sophisticated computer programs and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and conduct test performance according to descriptive instructions. Collect and analyze technical data, summarize results. Interface with multi-disciplinary design engineers to ensure successful software and hardware integration. Skills you bring: BSC or Master Student in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3rd year of BSC. You are familiar with utilizing standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, sig gen etc. Ability to read and follow test plans, electrical schematics, etc. Understand basic analog and digital components and signal properties. You complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines. Result driven personality with high sense of ownership and accountability. You’re a team player, sharing and cooperating with your peers. Preferred Skills: Experience with electrical verification at component level. General knowledge of Ethernet networks. Experience with fieldbus communication is a plus. Experience of work at technology reach environment Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Full time job at Israel-Rehovot Offices (very close to train station) This is a hands-on laboratory position that requires office presence . At least 2 times a week role, up to 3.
