Description Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm offering civil site, structural, land surveying, and GIS services. We operate in three states serving our six service lines - Infrastructure + Analytics, Site, Structures, Survey, Transportation, and Water Resources. We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern - Structural to support our CDI mission in Building Stronger Communities. This internship would support our structural-bridge team by contributing to projects and engaging with the team and supporting our mission of developing a better tomorrow. Requirements Job Duties: Under supervision, the intern will assist in structural engineering to support a variety of design projects. Requirements Must be a full or part time student seeking a degree in Structural – Bridge focus within Civil Engineering. Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying, drafting, and general civil engineering design (structural - bridge) /construction practices. Ability to assist in the field or on job sites. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment. Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new concepts. Desired Skills: Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation. Ability to provide 30 to 40 hours per week.
