2026 Summer Laborer (Multiple Counties) What You Will Do: Flag/traffic control for highway maintenance Drive pickup truck to set out/pick up signs & follow mowing crew Roadside litter pickup, clean &/or wash vehicles & equipment Clean/hose down garage areas Use weed eater to trim around buildings, fences, etc. Help clean up roadsides when work crews are cutting brush/tree trimming Answer phone &/or radio when clerk is unavailable - Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division. In accordance with Section 124.11 (B)(2) of Revised Code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination. - Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. Job Skills: Transportation Technical Skills: Transportation Professional Skills: Flexibility, Listening, Teamwork All candidates applying for employment opportunities should be authorized to work in the United States.
