Description Media Certification Intern Flynn Wright’s Accelerated Media Certification Program is a first-of-its-kind, paid internship designed to help students become employment-ready media planners and buyers. The program blends structured learning with hands-on agency experience, real client exposure, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications A Day In The Life: Media Certification Intern Each day starts with checking in on what you'll be learning and working on, whether that's a training session or hands-on assignment. You'll spend time with the media team understanding how campaigns are planned, built, and optimized across different channels. Throughout the day, you might help review campaign performance, assist with building a media plan, or learn how different tactics like digital, social, video, audio, broadcast, and print work together. You’ll also take part in structured learning sessions that walk-through media fundamentals, industry trends, and real-world application. You’ll have regular opportunities to ask questions, collaborate with teammates, and apply what you’re learning right away. As the program progresses, you’ll build toward a final media plan and presentation — gaining confidence, practical skills, and a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful in a media career. Responsibilities Assist with media planning, buying, optimization, and reporting in a simulation project. Learn how to build and evaluate media mixes across digital, social, search, video, audio, broadcast, print, and out-of-home. Support campaign setup, pacing, and performance analysis. Participate in training sessions covering media tactics, targeting, and industry trends. Collaborate with media team members Build and present a final, real-world media plan as part of the program curriculum. Qualifications Current college student or recent graduate in marketing, advertising, communications, analytics, or related field. Strong interest in media, advertising, and marketing strategy. Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Comfortable working with numbers, data, and multiple deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
