POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated, strong passion towards data, and detail-oriented Data Analyst Co-op with Strong Python Coding and visualization skills to join our team for a 4-month term. As a Small Business Data Analyst, you will work closely with our team to support the production of data-driven insights and decisions related to the Small Business portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and real-world problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Preparation: Assist in gathering, cleaning, profiling, and transforming data from various sources to ensure data integrity and readiness for analysis.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize Python and data analysis libraries (Pandas, Numpy, PySpark, and many more) to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights. Familiarity with visualization software like Tableau is a plus.
  • Automation and Scripting: Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing tasks, optimize data pipelines, and enhance overall workflow efficiency, utilizing tools and techniques such as ETL to support seamless data integration and processing.
  • Data Quality: support data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to improve current reporting processes.
