About the opportunity Applications are invited for eligible medical officers to join our Critical Care team to complete their 2027 Clinical Year at Mercy Health (Werribee Campus). Mercy Health has four Critical Care positions for applicants who are PGY3 or above. These positions are offered through direct recruitment by Mercy Health and are twelve (12) months duration commencing 1st February 2027. The Werribee Mercy Critical Care year is broken into four terms and comprises a total of six months of anaeshthesia and three months each of Emergency Medicine and intensive Care Medicine. These positions are suitable for those applicants who, by the commencement of the 2027 training year, will have obtained their General Registration with AHPRA. Mercy Health offers a supported environment where Senior Medical Staff make an effort to get know you personally and our HMO education program comprises weekly education session, incorporating simulation workshops and case-based education sessions. Please Note: Every effort will be made to provide your choice of leave – taking into consideration such things as current training requirements and demands of particular rotations. However, this is not a guarantee as this is dependent on the group of successful applicants and the final rotation selection. Responsibilities
