Job Description Work as part of a team to deliver high quality commercial, financial and strategic advisory outcomes to clients. This could involve being involved with providing commercial or financial advisory work in connection with business or ownership strategy, or transaction work such as Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), capital raisings and debt advisory. As a potential future Analyst, you will be a part of the team contributing your analytical skills to provide detailed and insightful analysis, working alongside senior team members and clients. Our Corporate Finance and Transactions team is a highly skilled group offering comprehensive support to our clients in M&A advisory, financial due diligence, valuation and modelling, turnaround & restricting and debt advisory. The team is operates nationally, with offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton, and delivers services to all industries and across a wide variety of client types, ranging from corporate organisations, financial investors, individuals, and private and listed companies. Your typical day will include: Assisting with in-depth financial analysis of businesses. Participating in engagement team and client discussions regarding business value drivers, growth opportunities and risks. Contributing to reports which communicate insights to our clients and business stakeholders. Qualifications Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with: No previous experience is required. Internships with accounting or finance exposure, or part-time positions in customer-service, retail and hospitality are beneficial. Currently completing a bachelor's degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another relevant major e.g. Data - Analytics, Coding, Engineering, Law, Sciences. An analytical mind, detail-oriented, with an interest in business and commerce, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. An adaptable and driven attitude – you understand what it's like to overcome obstacles through tenacity and hard work.
