Job Description Our Building Engineering Team is looking for a Graduate Fire Protection Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane. You will work with a close-knit team, on a variety of projects providing technical fire protection design services on defence, aviation, data-centre, education and health sector projects. How you’ll make a difference: Support all phases of fire protection project design and delivery, from concept to construction and commissioning, ensuring high-quality solutions across diverse sectors. Assist in designing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, automatic fire sprinkler systems, alternative fire suppression systems, gas suppression, fire detection, and evacuation systems. Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines on large, multi-disciplinary projects to develop integrated fire protection solutions for major clients. Help ensure fire protection designs meet the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, local authority regulations, and client-specific standards. Build expertise in wet and dry fire protection systems through hands-on involvement and mentorship from senior engineers. Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any relevant discipline. Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program. Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027.
