You will rotate through units including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Emergency, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Surgical Specialties, Plastics, Vascular, Urology, ENT/FMOS/Ophthalmology, ICU and surgical nights.   You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, working alongside accredited and unaccredited registrars and consultant staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The role offers opportunities for research, teaching and participation in a dedicated education program for junior surgical doctors. Mentoring from PRESET supervisors is available to support progression into surgical training programs.   Barwon Health’s Surgery Department is collaborative, engaged and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, promoting positive, respectful relationships and strong multidisciplinary partnerships across the Barwon South West region.
