About the opportunity About the role: • Multiple positions available including full time and part time roles • 6 and 12 month positions available • Flexibility with roles may be negotiated to suit individual training requirements • Based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg • Registrars provide care for inpatients and outpatients at Mercy Hospital for Women as per position description • Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement Available positions include: • General Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar positions. Various positions suitable for level 3-6 RANZCOG trainees. • Suitable for job share and/or 6 or 12 month roles (commencing Feb 2027 or Aug 2027) • Roles tailored to individual training requirements • Suitable for FRANZCOG Elective Advanced Training Modules (where applicable) • Generalist Obstetrics • Generalist Gynaecology • Essential O&G Skills • Other ATMs may be undertaken as per individual agreement About you: • Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) • FRANZCOG core or elective (or equivalent) trainee • Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
