Description

Lloyd's Barbeque (a subsidiary of Hormel Corporation) is looking for General Workers at our Mendota Heights facility. Pay for the position starts at $21.00 to $21.50 per hour. The General Production Worker's task include: * Abiding by all Lloyd's Barbeque plant safety rules * Operating a food packaging machine for both pork and beef ribs * Operating food processing equipment * Assisting with the coordination and running of a food processing line * Hanging ribs (both and pork and beef) for smoking * Unload and place ribs (both pork and beef) into a packaging machine * Loading product onto stands for cooking * Performing product inspection checks * Label both packages of product and cases of product * Place finished product into a case * Picking up and stacking cases of product onto a pallet * Completing all necessary paperwork correctly and in a timely manner * Operating an electric Pallet Jack (in-house training provided) * Relieving other Lloyd's BBQ plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided if relieving a higher pay grade position) * Following good manufacturing practices (GMP's) * Perform any and all duties (washroom and production) as assigned by 1st line supervisor.
