JOB TITLE: Manager | #2191 SERVICE AREA: Living Options LOCATION: Richmond, BC START DATE: June 16, 2026 TERM/STATUS: Permanent Full Time SCHEDULE/HRS: Monday/Tuesday/Friday 08:30-16:00, Wednesday/Thursday 09:00-16:30 // 37.5 hours per week HOURLY WAGE: $33.77 - $38.77 as per collective agreement THE ROLE: The Manager ensures the group home setting provides a home-like, comfortable living space and opportunities for individuals to develop life skills to their desire and potential. REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience: * Degree or Diploma in Social Sciences and/or degree or diploma in training people with developmental disabilities * 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disability in their homes and community * Experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs using a person centered, individualized approach * Experience using augmentative and alternative forms of communication * Flexible to adjust schedule when needed * 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience * Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines * Must be able to perform lifts and transfers of 40lbs * Positive behaviour support experience and training Standard requirements of the Manager include: * Criminal Record Clearance * Medical Clearance * TB Test Clearance * Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract * Class 5 Driver's License * Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted Driver's License during probation period * Valid First Aid/CPR * Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification * Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication * Basic computer literacy * Eligible to work in Canada WHAT WE OFFER: * A fully employer-paid, comprehensive health and welfare benefits plan * Employee and Family Assistance Program * Municipal Pension Plan * Educational and training opportunities * On-the-job training * Professional development * Community involvement * An inclusive work environment *This position requires Union Membership.
