The Machine Shop Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production environment within the machine shop and production areas. This role supports production operations by ensuring work areas, equipment, and tools are properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for daily use.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine shop, production floors, and workstations. * Clean and maintain shop equipment, machinery, tools, and work areas according to company standards. * Remove metal shavings, debris, scrap materials, and waste from production areas. * Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces to ensure a safe and clean working environment. * Assist with inventory and restocking of cleaning supplies, shop materials, and consumables. * Support machine operators and production staff by preparing and maintaining clean workspaces. * Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and housekeeping standards. * Assist with general facility upkeep and other production support duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred but not required. * Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment and hand tools. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and maintain productivity throughout the shift. * Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed. * Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
