MMSD is seeking highly motivated and energetic applicants for openings for the 2024-2025 school year. The Madison Metropolitan School District actively seeks and encourages women and candidates of color to apply.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to:

  • Walk, run, lift, climb, bend, reach and kneel
  • Build relationships with students, staff, and community members
  • Effectively intervene and de-escalate in verbal and physical altercations
  • Communicate verbally and in writing; with both youth and adults
  • Work under stress and respond appropriately in stressful or emergency situations
  • Proficiently use District phones, and computer software, including eduClimber, Google Docs, and cameras
  • Understand, and properly and authentically implement MMSD policies and guidance (e.g. District Safety Plan, Guidance & Policies to Support Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender-Expansive Students, and/or the Behavior Education Plan)
  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
