Please be advised that a temporary (May to October) Summer Hospitality - BBQ Cart position is available with an initial work assignment in Edmonton within the Facilities & Infrastructure department. Qualifications Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Must be able to drive and backup a Ford F-250 [Quad Cab Super Duty] and a 24 ft BBQ trailer. Green Certified Training required. Current WHMIS and MSDS. Experience with various equipment as required. Key activities Responsible for the transportation of and safe operation of a large BBQ grill trailer at AUPE events throughout the summer. Operates grill in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for quick, accurate and safe food production process. Assists in the success of the event by ensuring member satisfaction through adhering to standards for quality, service and cleanliness. Communicates all significant issues, both positive and negative, with event coordinator. Position requires travel throughout Alberta and a non-standard work week. Overnight stays may be required in some locations. Other duties may be assigned as required based on operational requirements. The salary and benefits are as per the Collective Agreement between AUPE and AULReP.
