$3.35 Stipend Tier Pay for working in the BCU Shift Incentive: + $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm – 12am | + $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm – Monday 8am CMHA-CEI is a Michigan Certified Bronze Level Veteran Friendly Employer, and we encourage active military service members, veterans, and their family members to apply. Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Bridges Crisis Unit Coordinator, Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS), provides a supportive atmosphere for consumers, responds to emergency situations and monitors program activity.  Aids clinicians and interacts with consumers in a short-term crisis intervention program.  Must be able to problem solve crisis situations and intervene with consumers both individually and in group settings. Candidate is responsible for obtaining and sharing information with therapists in the CMHA-CEI system. Candidate is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and secure environment.  This position involves preparing meals for up to 16 residents.  Requirements: Possession of high school diploma or G.E.D. required.  Six months of experience working with persons with emotional impairments is required. Required to work weekends and CMHA-CEI observed holidays. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both orally and in writing is required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required. Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), a physical exam, and verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must be able to pass a physical exam annually. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.    Salary: $20.82 – $22.47 hourly, +$3.35 Stipend Tier Pay for working in the BCU, + $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm – 12am | + $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm – Monday 8am Hours: Monday – Friday 3pm – 11:30pm.  Location: Adult Mental Health Services/Bridges Crisis Unit, Lansing, Michigan.
