The Minimum Viable Product Studio (MVP Studio) of NUS Enterprise, Technology Transfer and Innovation, supports NUS startups and research groups in their prototyping journey by providing industry know-how and technical guidance in the productization of intellectual property. We are seeking an experienced Bioengineer with expertise in product development, synthesis, and commercialization process, to join our team as a Master Engineer (Bioengineering).
As a Master Engineer (Bioengineering), you will guide NUS startups through product concept development, material optimization, and product-to-market process. You will support the prototyping phase of NUS startups and collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver robust functional prototypes.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong research background and proven industrial experience in bioengineering R&D, product development, or commercialization.
• Good knowledge in synthesis techniques, biomanufacturing, and engineering principles.
• Proven track record of assisting research projects in transitioning from the lab to market.
• Familiarity with regulatory pathways, including FDA, ISO, and GMP compliance.
• Proven team manager with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide startup teams.
