REQUIREMENTS

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous production experience as a 2D Builds Artist or similar role in animation.
• A portfolio that demonstrates
• Extensive experience using ToonBoom Harmony for Builds creation.
• Strong ability to develop a wide range of 2D Assets and Builds (e.g. character rigs, environmental elements, and props)
• Solid understanding of Builds techniques and principles.
• Strong understanding of traditional 2D animation principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote solutions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback.

• Create and refine 2D assets and builds, such as character rigs, environmental elements, and props, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with the project’s artistic vision.
• Adjust builds based on notes from leads, supervisors, and directors.
• Ensure builds are structured efficiently for animation, maintaining flexibility and usability.
• Handle assets of varying complexity, from simple to moderately difficult.
• Collaborate with leadership, production, and team members to solve problems and maintain consistency in builds.
• Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions, contributing to creative and technical improvements.
• Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process.
• Maintain high-quality builds while meeting production needs.
• Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule.
• Keep the team and production staff informed about progress, challenges, and solutions
