About the Role: At OMQ, the 2D Designer plays a key role in producing all static event designs with high quality and professionalism, while ensuring alignment with the visual identity and creative concept of each project. Responsibilities include designing invitations, signage, screens, print materials, and presentation/communication files. Working within the design team and under the supervision of the Art Director, the 2D Designer contributes to transforming ideas into print-ready or digital outputs that reflect OMQ’s creativity and deliver strong visual impact. Key Responsibilities: Design static materials such as invitations, banners, signage, interactive screens, print materials, and presentations. Apply brand identity accurately across all designs and ensure visual consistency. Prepare files for print or digital display according to technical specifications (sizes, colors, file formats). Coordinate with the Art Director and creative team to understand project requirements and visual direction. Review designs carefully before submission to ensure they are error-free. Collaborate with concept, production, and marketing teams to ensure integrated visual messaging. Propose new design ideas or enhancements to existing outputs. Stay updated with design software advancements and modern design trends. Adhere to delivery schedules and manage multiple files/projects simultaneously. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in fast-paced environments such as events or campaigns. Knowledge of graphic design and printing fundamentals, with the ability to prepare print-ready and digital files. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects. Strong understanding of visual harmony and design principles. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work within a diverse team. Native Arabic – Very good English proficiency (especially in technical and printing terminology).
