Description

As a Service Technician (m/f/d), you will be part of the Operations Offshore & HVDC 2GW team, which ensures that operational requirements are considered during the planning, construction, and commissioning phases of the offshore grid connection system. The team also supports the transition of the facilities into operation and contributes to their ongoing development.
In preparation for the operational phase, you will ensure that existing maintenance strategies are applied or adapted as needed to guarantee the long-term availability and technical integrity of the facilities.

Responsibilities
  • You take on tasks related to the integration of operational procedures and systems to prepare for the future operational phase, ensuring a smooth transition into operations
  • This includes independently handling documentation and condition assessments of the facilities, as well as overseeing and ensuring quality control
  • As a Service Technician in Operations (m/f/d), you are independently responsible for troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance work on specific process engineering systems of the grid connection systems—both on offshore platforms and in converter stations at onshore substations
  • This also includes performing isolations on the mechanical systems and setting up safe work environments. You are also responsible for supervising, ensuring quality control, and instructing service providers during maintenance activities
  • Additionally, you participate in on-call services for initial fault response, including on weekends and public holidays.
  • A key part of your role is to fully internalize and embody our safety culture (HSE) within the TenneT teams and in interactions with our contractor
