KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging, with current AHPRA registration.
  • 5 years experience as a senior MRI technologist, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MRI techniques, safety protocols and technology.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
  • Postgraduate qualification in MRI or Health Leadership is highly desirable.
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities

We are excited to offer a newly created opportunity for an experienced MRI professional to join our team as 2IC MRI Manager. This role supports the MRI Manager in leading a high-performing and collaborative MRI team while helping drive the growth, innovation and clinical excellence of MRI services across the practice.
As 2IC MRI Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, mentoring and developing staff, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and assisting in service development and strategic planning. You will also provide operational oversight, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal equipment use and high-quality patient care.
This is a unique chance to develop your leadership skills, work closely with radiologists and clinical teams and make a meaningful impact within the practice.
