Description

We are seeking 2 x 2IC Senior Dispatch/ Storepersons to join our Quality Bakers site in Christchurch.
Shift Times available: Sunday - Thursday 4pm - 12.30am or Monday - Friday 11am - 7.30pm.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Warehouse Operations: Experience in picking, packing, loading/unloading line hauls, and using RF scanners (training provided).
  • Systems & Tools: Familiarity with SAP (training provided), basic Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Certifications: Forklift license and OSH certification
Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfilment & Accuracy: Pack, label, and double-check bread and chilled orders using FIFO principles; replenish pick faces and assist with cycle counts.
  • Logistics & Dispatch: Safely load/unload line haul trucks, prepare pallets and crates, and pick urgent orders for dispatch.
  • Housekeeping & Equipment Care: Maintain clean work areas, stack pallets/crates neatly, and perform daily equipment checks.
  • Inventory & Systems Management: Handle inwards/outwards goods, enter finished goods data, and generate pick-lists using SAP.
  • Team Support & Leadership: Participate in daily team meetings and step into the Team Leader role when required.
