CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will have relevant experience in supervising staff, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in Clarity / Best Practice software will be highly regarded.

Additional requirements include:

  • Ability to engage, motivate, empower and coach staff to achieve desired business outcomes
  • High level of computer skills
  • A strong commitment to customer service
  • A current CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain these (please speak to us if you need support in obtaining certification)
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a 2IC with demonstrated administration experience, ideally within a healthcare environment, you will join the Mt Isa Clinic, QLD, on a Permanent Full-Time basis working 38 hours per week. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of tasks and customer demands. You will be responsible for leading, managing and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic, particularly in the absence of the Practice Manager.

DUTIES

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of the clinic operations
  • Effective team supervision of administration staff
  • Assistance of human resource functions including recruitment, inductions and performance management
  • Promoting and embedding a high level standard of customer service delivery
  • Reception and general administration duties
  • Processing medical bookings
  • Results management
  • Conducting preliminary medical assessments
  • Administering health questionnaires
  • Invoicing
