SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Operating Engineer to join our dynamic team in GTA. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing facilities, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch staffing solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of performance and safety.

• Operate and maintain machinery within manufacturing facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment using CMMS.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement improvements in operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all engineering activities.
• Document maintenance activities and report on equipment performance metrics.
• Assist in training new staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Operating Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
• Valid 2nd Class Operating Engineer license certified by the Province of Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and CMMS software and HVAC system.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
