THE POSITION:

The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for following the direct lead of his/her Foreman or Journeyman when installing, constructing, or troubleshooting electrical systems in accordance with the CEC. The position also requires active listening, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills. The Apprentice must be willing to continue to learn to advance in industry proficiency and skill as an Electrician. The Apprentice must be able to collaborate with a team to provide quality installation and exceptional service to clients. We are looking for someone who shares the same passion to join us in working as a team to advance as individuals as well as an organization!

• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must work safely and conform to all mandatory PPE and safety requirements
• Must be able speak and write in English.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must keep a clean work environment.

CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Electrical Trade Certification
• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Fall Protection
• Aerial Work Platform

• Install electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC
• Lay out circuits, set up breaker and panel boxes, and install fixtures and lights as well as other electrical equipment
• Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and lighting
• Complies with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules
• Participate in job site safety
• Properly maintaining all paperwork, policies and procedures.
