This hands-on position is essential to ensuring materials, skids, and finished goods are received, organized, and moved safely and efficiently. It’s a physically active role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. What You’ll Do Operate forklifts and spotter trucks (certification required) Empty hoppers and manage skid stock Unload inbound trucks and move WIP skids Support all departments with material and skid movements Move finished goods (FG) skids to appropriate locations Organize and maintain the skid yard Complete daily forklift safety checklists Report near misses and safety concerns immediately Perform thorough shift handoffs from 1st shift and to 3rd shift What We’re Looking For Reliable and proactive employees who take initiative in organizing and supporting daily operations. Detail-focused workers who can maintain accurate inventory and manage materials efficiently. Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in handling and preparing shipments. Forklift Experience (Preferred): Prior experience or certification is a plus but not required. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to a dynamic shipping environment. Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
