Run 1 machine with assistance while focusing on learning how to properly operate a CNC machine.

• Able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods
• Able to work in warm temperatures

• Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required

• Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines

• Run 1 machine with assistance from an experienced operator
• Learn/ perform production and maintenance practices
• Startup/ shutdown, cycle start/ cycle stop, load/ unload machine, make offsets, change inserts, fill coolant tank, clean machine, purge dropped parts, shaving management, lube/grease/oil, clear basic faults
• Learn/ perform quality practices
• Follow job packet/ OIIS/ SOPs, gauge checks, submit parts for approval, FPGP/LPGP, blueprints, SPC, special alerts, scrap accountability
• Learn/ perform communication practices
• Complete and submit daily production sheet
• Complete start of shift and end of shift checklists
• Report issues to supervisor, lead or setups and complete required documentation
