About the Role: The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser machinery for cutting, drilling and engraving metal. You will work in a manufacturing fabrication shop, creating precise parts to be used in the assembly of asphalt pavers and road maintenance equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate laser machinery according to specifications provided through blueprints and/or drawings. Create high-quality laser cut parts and/or products in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect and maintain laser to ensure it is in good working condition. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and report them. Maintain a clean work area. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) Minimum 2 years of experience operating a laser. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and parts drawings. Excellent attention to detail. Physical ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time. Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
