JOB SUMMARY: Hog Slat, Inc. the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a 2nd shift Lead with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, Nc Manufacturing location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change. * Direct workflow to ensure production standards are being met for department * Log all production and system transactions in AX * Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. * Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners. * Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts. * Operates drill presses, pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations * Adhere to all safety procedures * Train new associates, manage shift coverage, and foster a collaborative, solutions-driven work environment.
