The Art Of Craftsmanship’ video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mIrF9OtAbA [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mIrF9OtAbA] We currently have an opening for a Mechanic B in our Maintenance Department.  In this position the Mechanic B is responsible to perform all maintenance and repair trade functions such as: repair, build, move machinery and mechanical equipment: fabricate parts; maintain internal and external systems and facilities.  Other essential functions include but not limited to: 1. Sets up and operates all machine shop equipment to fit machine or fabricate a wide variety of complex parts 2. Uses precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools. 3. Reads blueprints, drawings, sketches, and interprets OEM technical manuals. 4. Performs basic electrical systems work. 5. Performs all welding functions as required. 6. Trains and directs the work of lower mechanics.  Recommends action in complex situations. 7. Observes safety rules and safe work habits. 8. Observes proper procedures ensure quality work. 9. Detects and reports any unusual or defective conditions. 10. May perform other related duties as assigned. 11.
