Description Maintenance Technician Associate $20-$22/hr. (Based on Skills & Experience) + 4% Shift Differential East Peoria, IL – Caterpillar Facility Second Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM A Day in the Life Ready to start a career in industrial maintenance? As a Maintenance Technician Associate, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance technicians to keep Caterpillar's equipment running safely and efficiently. Every day is different—you'll help inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and assist with repairs that keep production moving. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs Troubleshoot equipment alongside experienced technicians Replace worn or damaged parts Use hand and power tools safely Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE Requirements What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Comfortable using hand and power tools Reliable with a strong work ethic Able to lift, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, farming, construction, military, or trade school is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person!
