2nd Shift Maintenance Technician WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process. This is a great opportunity to join the WeatherTech Direct team! * High performing, reliable, and teamwork-minded employees are rewarded with a competitive compensation and benefits package including the potential to earn end of year bonuses and pay increases. * The base hourly rate of pay starts at $23 per hour or more, depending on experience * Additional compensation: $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential As a Maintenance Technician, you will * Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority * Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks * Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates * Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks * Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs * Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity * Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures * Work overtime as business demands * Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed * Communicate clearly and work as part of a team * Perform other duties as assigned Qualified Candidates will * Have at least 2 years of experience performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems; knowledge of Plastics Injection Molding and/or Thermoforming * Have a high school diploma or equivalent * Have a trade school certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred, not required * Have basic math, measuring and computer skills * Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and machinery manuals * Knowledge of machine maintenance related to plastics injection molding and/or thermoforming * Possess a high degree of attention and be detail-oriented to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues * Have great attendance and punctuality * Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently * Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude * Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English * Be authorized to work in the United States Why you’ll love working at WeatherTech Direct WeatherTech Direct is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and clean and safe workspace.
