Position:                     Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Reports To:                 Maintenance Supervisor/Manager Status:                        Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly) Shift:                           2nd, 4-10’s (2 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 4 days per week) Pay Range:                $28-35 / hour  ($1.50 / hour 2nd shift premium)   ROLE   As part of the Operations Team, the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician supports grounds, facilities and equipment maintenance projects and tasks.   TASKS   * Performs facilities and manufacturing equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for air compressors, ovens, machining centers and hand tools, to name a few * Supports facilities projects or tasks including construction, plumbing, HVAC and electrical * Supports any grounds projects or tasks such as landscaping and snow removal * Promotes and meets all safety requirements including MIOSHA * Supports emergency responses as part of the Medical Response Team * Coordinates and communicates with maintenance team and all stake holders on projects and tasks * Promotes and demonstrates continuous improvement in all aspects * Supports various shifts and weekend work as required * Performs other duties as required   REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES   * 5 years facilities and manufacturing equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair * Basic construction and manufacturing processes including machining, welding and assembly * Ability to read and interpret facility, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings, schematics, procedures and manuals * MIOSHA safety standards * Continuous improvement in manufacturing environment * Lift 50 pounds overhead * MS Office including Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel   PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Facility and equipment preventative maintenance * Computer-based diagnostic/troubleshooting tools and software * Sheet metal, finishing, painting and composites * 5S principles and execution * Certificate or Associate’s degree in any mechanical, electrical, machine or manufacturing topic
