Job Responsibilities • Maintain 5S+ standards across all assigned areas to ensure organization and efficiency. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring storage areas meet 5S and EHS guidelines. • Ensure compliance with EHS and quality requirements (LOTO, hot work, ESD handling, calibration/verification, documentation). • Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of PPE by all team members. • Lead and direct team operations, ensuring products are assembled accurately and efficiently. • Manage and oversee line activities, including scheduling, task assignments, and workflow coordination. • Ensure compliance with assembly procedures and quality standards throughout production. • Train new team members on assembly processes and safety requirements. • Provide ongoing coaching and support to maintain high performance and quality standards. • Monitor and manage inventory, identifying and disposing of excess or obsolete materials promptly. • Adapt operations to changing conditions, including material shortages, manpower fluctuations, and unexpected challenges. • Resolve workflow disruptions by implementing effective solutions. • Identify and drive process improvements, performing root cause analysis to address issues. • Report production metrics to supervisors or operations management. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes • Kit and stage materials, parts, tools, and permits; coordinate with Stores to maintain MRO spares availability and min/max levels. • Monitor and report KPIs (schedule compliance, PM completion, wrench time, MTTR/MTBF, backlog health) and drive corrective actions. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise • Safety-first mindset with practical knowledge of LOTO, confined space, electrical safety/arc flash, and permit systems. • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Excel; able to build reports and dashboards. • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings; convert technical information into executable job plans. • Experience applying reliability and lean tools: RCCA, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, standard work.• Root-cause analysis capability (5-Why, fishbone/Ishikawa) and disciplined problem-solving. • High School Diploma or GED required
